Friendship is an affective and cooperative relationship between human beings, which is characterized by a feeling of sympathy, respect, mutual affinity. Friendship involves an attitude of mutual goodwill, mutual support when needed or in a crisis of loyalty, good faith and altruism. The friendship is based on mutual trust. The opposite of friendship is enmity.
