Luke Skywalker was the most famous Jedi Knight in the New Jedi Order. His father was Anakin Skywalker, later known as Darth Vader, and his mother was the senator from the planet Naboo, Padme Amidala. He received little Jedi training from Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda. Later, during the restoration of the New Republic, he became the Grand Master of the New Jedi Order. He had a twin sister named Leia Organa. Luke Skywalker destroyed the Death Star. Darth Vader tried to lure him to the Dark Side of the Force, but failed. Later, Luke manages to defeat him and bring him back to the good side.
