Alison had never been to the old house on the hill, so she decided it was time to go and have a look.
Alison stepped cautiously on the old wooden veranda surrounding the mysterious house whose owner had never been found. He disappeared one foggy night, leaving everything behind. Once she stepped inside, Alison was met with crooked floor boards, peeling wallpaper and an eerie atmosphere. She inspected the furniture, looking for clues and perhaps answers as to where the owner had gone. Suddenly, a loud bang came from behind a tiny door, maybe a meter tall, next to the staircase. Upon touching the doorknob, Alison felt an immense pressure in her chest, almost as if someone’s hit her. She quickly took her hand off the knob and ran outside, never to return to that cursed place.
