  • mersul trenurilor.
  • Il mai recunosti si cu expresiile de timp specifice: every day/night/week/month,usually, always ...
  • Verbul primeste un "-s" sau "es" la finalul verbului la persoana a III-a singular

Afirmativ: se formeaza cu S+verb(prima forma): The train leaves at 8

Interogativ: il formezi cu "do" sau "does"(pentru persoana a III-a singular, she-she-it; la interogativul cu subiectul la persoana a III-a singular, verbul nu mai primeste "-s" sau "es" la finalul verbului)+S+verb(prima forma: When does the train leave?

Negativul: adaugi un "not": The train doesn't/does not leave

Present continuous: Se foloseste pentru

  • actiuni care se savarsesc in momentul de fata sau in apropiere de momentul vorbirii(sa zic asa)
  • cu adverbul "always" pentru a arata disperarea
  • pentru evenimente care sunt deja pregatite/aranjate
  • Il recunosti dupa expresiile: now, at the moment, these days, tonight, still. ..

Afirmativ: S+(am pentru persoana I singular; is pentru persoana a III-a singular;are pentru restul)verb cu "ing" la final. I am studying these days. The plane is leaving to Rome in an hour.  

*Persoana a III-a singular nu mai primeste "-s" sau "es" la finalul verbului(cum face la present simple)

Interogativ: am/are/is+S+verb cu "ing": Are you going to the station now?

Negativ: se formeaza cu not(exista si prescurtari):No, they are going to the theatre at the moment.
