Scientists worry about the survival of men, women
and children. People's activity changes the world for
the worse. For example, they cut down forests simply
because they need firewood to keep warm. Trees are a
vital part of the water cycle, and of course they give
us the oxygen that we breathe. And when we cut down
forests, we kill the plants under the trees as well, the
plants which help us fight many illnesses.​
