It's very hard to imagine, I'm convinced. But, surprise, there is such a thing. It's just that there are no more eyes to see and enjoy it. Today, without the internet, you are considered a man torn from the world. It's true, for the most part, but that doesn't mean you can only live this way.
I remember, more and more often, lately, that my generation did not have a childhood in which online games, consoles, audiobooks, facebook and movies on different sites and everything related of the net, in general, to be the essential coordinates in life. Not even the TV, because it was a program only two hours a day and those "with orientation". Without all this, we would frolic all day long, and when we entered the house we would read and set up the country. I mean, I was talking to my parents, my siblings, my neighbors, my relatives ... others! I don't know how much he helped us, those of that generation, but I know that he made us have a different hierarchy of values, I know that there is more respect for others and for ourselves and I still know that it created a base for us to build on.
Now, what I want to say is that socializing is not done on Facebook, but being in the middle of people, the games are not only on the computer, they are also in nature, and the books also have sheets, not just "next page". Someone was telling me, jokingly, that he was glad that his net had crashed, that he had more time for his family. Joking or not! Because, if you have a net, you also tend to solve everything online. To send and receive emails, to pay bills, to post each other on Facebook, to follow what others have posted, to play who knows what time-consuming ranges, at the expense of a discussion with family, for example.
Don't let anyone think I'm challenging the importance of the internet now! Society is changing its way of life, this being a natural step towards progress. But to a technological one. There are other genres!
The idea that the internet makes everything simpler is correct. But why does everything have to be simple? Life without the internet would not be easy, of course! But it would have a real charm!
