As soon as they opened that door, they knew something was wrong. A freezing breeze came from the room and the strange sound coming from upstairs was still hearing.
Alex looked at Kevin. None of them had the courage to enter the room. One of them had to do it. In their hearts they both were adventurers. They both liked discovering. But still.... they knew they wouldn't like discovering what was in there.
Alex made the first step. He walked slowly and carefully, like he wanted not to wake up someone. Behind him was Kevin, who was trembling with fear. The room was so quiet and dark, that they couldn't even see each other. They were touching things to get an idea of what was in the room, when suddenly, the sound upstairs stopped. Then they heard some footsteps coming from the stairs. They froze and tried not to make a sound. Someone entered the room. They could hear it's heavy breath. Then, a light coming from a candle showed them that the person coming from upstairs was their grandfather, who was probably just sleeping upstairs and snoring. The boys laughed and told their sleepy grandpa what has happened.
